We are pleased to send you the call for participants for the Roma Youth Conference, to be held in the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg, from the 26 until the 30 September (arrival and departure day included).
The Conference is organised in cooperation with FERYP, TERNYPE and the European Youth Forum and benefits from the support and cooperation of the Secretary General’s Special Team on Roma Issues of the Council of Europe.
The conference aims at preparing a Roma youth action plan for the Council of Europe with the active participation and input of Roma youth representatives.The Conference will gather some 50 representatives and active leaders of Roma youth organisations and young Roma active in other organisations and projects from the Council of Europe member states, and relevant stakeholders from the youth sector at European level.
Please note that the deadline for applying is 26 July 2011.
We would appreciate your cooperation in helping this information reaching those primarily concerned: Roma youth leaders and youth organisations and in your countries or networks.
