dTS is a strategic management consulting firm leading initiatives in social and economic development worldwide with a view to promoting equality and accountability. In recent years,   dTS has worked in over 40 countries and provided gender integration, training and capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation services to USAID and the World Bank.

 

dTS is seeking a Project Leader to serve on the USAID funded Analysis and Evaluation of People-to- People and Reconciliation Program. The Project Leader will be responsible for overall project management and providing input and guidance at technical and strategic levels in this project, which aims to advance USAID’s technical leadership and learning in conflict mitigation, reconciliation, and peacebuilding programs. As part of this role, he/she will also be responsible for providing technical leadership in two separate complex evaluations of USAID-funded grant conflict mitigation/management programs in the Middle East and Africa.

 

Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements: 


  • Advanced degree in Conflict Mitigation, Conflict Resolution, International Development or related field (required). PhD or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of international development experience with demonstrated expertise in the evaluation of peace building and conflict resolution programs, as well as theory of evaluation or conflict resolution for large donor organizations (required)
  • Extensive experience in managing and implementing projects for USAID and other large international donor organizations (required)
  • Strong familiarity with theory-based evaluation and developmental evaluation. ( required)
  • Strong familiarity with concepts or best practices in organizational learning, facilitation and instruction (required)
  • Demonstrated writing skills evidenced by published work in conflict mitigation, conflict resolution and/or peace building. (required)
  • Experience working in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Arabic and/or Hebrew (preferred)
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Team oriented individual
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office applications and databases
