Salary £22765 to £26391 pa – Grade 5

The University of Plymouth has recently secured funding, in collaboration with Teeside University, from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to deliver a ground-breaking new project that seeks to understand the new market space that the enterprise agenda is creating for the Higher Education sector.

The project will also explore the business models needed for its successful exploitation.

An experienced, dedicated and highly motivated individual is required to help deliver this exciting new project:

You will be based within the University of Plymouth’s Socio-economic Research and Intelligence Observatory who will provide quality control and oversee its successful delivery under the academic leadership of Professor Julian Beer, the University’s Director of Research and Enterprise and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Regional Enterprise).

You should be an experienced researcher with an understanding of the Higher Education sector and someone who is ready for a challenge to join a vibrant, fast paced team within the country’s top modern university – the Enterprise University.

This is a fixed term appointment until March 2011 in the first instance to coincide with project funding period.

Flexible working and travel within the UK will be required.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held during the week beginning 23 November 2009.
